...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING...
The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a Freeze
Watch, which is in effect from late tonight through Thursday
morning.
* TEMPERATURES...As low as 31.
* TIMING...3 am to 8 am Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation.
* LOCATION...Northern Connecticut, Northwest Rhode Island, as well
as portions of Massachusetts where the growing season has not
officially ended.

Information:
A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

...A BRIEF PERIOD OF 35 TO 45 MPH WIND GUSTS MAY RESULT IN A FEW
DOWNED TREES AND ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES BETWEEN 2 AND 8 PM THIS
EVENING...
A strong cold front will cross the region this afternoon and early
this evening. A band of scattered showers may accompany this cold
front and result in a brief period of 35 to 45 mph wind gusts.
Given that we still have fully leafed trees...the potential exists
for a few downed trees and isolated power outages. The main time
of concern is between 2 and 8 pm this evening.
